Red's Giant Hamburg
In the 1940’s “Red” Chaney opened a small diner along Route 66. It was the site of the first drive through restaurant, which served some the the best burgers along Route 66. The rumor goes that “Red” purchased a sign that said “Giant Hamburger” , but the letters we not measured properly and the last two letters could not fit and ran out of room. The sign has now been moved to a park nearby along Route 66.
